Rick Riordan is a big deal in young adult genre. His Series Percy Jackson and the Olympians reached mythological proportions. Riordan managed to do a pretty decent job. He created three interesting characters with Jason, Leo and Piper. The books are packed with action and humor and the pages fly by.
